My Students

My students are full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know, I believe in them, and they can do anything.

My students are an amazing group of 5th graders!

My students walk into our classroom knowing that the day will be the best day ever. There is never a dull moment in our classroom. We are always learning "Outside of the Box!" My goal is that each and every day is their best day ever.

My Project

Fractions are part of everyday life. When we are cooking or building we deal with fractions. Mastering this skills is one of the most challenging for my 5th graders. Hands-on learning opportunities can help make that challenge much easier to meet. My fifth graders always struggle with the concept of fractions. I am asking for ETA hand2mind Rainbow Fraction kits to help my kids learn fractions. These kits will help my students see fractions, and will make learning fractions easier for my hands-on students and my visual learners. These fraction kits will come with colorful fraction tiles.

These tiles can be used in many 5th-grade math lessons​ and will be a great visual for the kids.
