This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students live in an urban setting. They are enthusiastic about learning and trying their best to ROCK THE TEST this year for PSSA's. They have been together since third grade, so we are a very tight nit community of learners in fourth grade. They are helpful and incredible little humans. They deserve all of the necessities in order to be successful and will appreciate everything you do for them!
If I could give them the world, I would!
They deserve all of the resources we can give them- they are our future!
My Project
Our PSSA scores have been continuously low for years. One of the main tools students are allowed to use on the standardized test in fourth grade are calculators. Please provide the opportunity for my students to succeed this school year. Any donation amount will help us tremendously and we appreciate any and every dollar you can afford to give! While taking the test, students are allowed to use calculators. When a school doesn't have the funds to provide the resources, the teacher usually pays for supplies. My funds are very limited this year and my students deserve the same opportunity to succeed as other students that have access to calculators during the test!
Thank you so much for your efforts in setting the bar higher for my students, especially when they are trying their hardest to learn and achieve higher this school year!
