My Project

I will be a brand new 4th-grade teacher next fall! I am beyond excited to create a welcoming and positive learning environment for my students.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom where students feel comfortable, motivated, challenged, and inspired!

These kids are special to me because I have known and watched them grow since they were kindergarteners; I want to continue to make a difference in their academic growth and social-emotional well-being as their new 4th-grade teacher.

These supplies will help me build an inclusive and engaging classroom in which my students can thrive! Specifically, students will benefit from the colorful book bins because they will give each student a personal space to keep their books and other materials they need to access throughout the day. It will also help students stay organized and responsible for their own materials. The maps will help my students visually understand how we as individuals, a school, a community, and a state are connected to the world beyond our walls. The growth mindset posters and classroom rules will allow my students to understand the power and importance of effort, learning, and persistence. They are all amazing human beings but having visual reminders in the classroom will help students understand the value of their strengths, opportunities, and potential!

I am so thrilled to begin this new adventure with these incredible human beings! Please help me create a classroom that helps them understand how amazing they are and how much potential they have!
