it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My young and lovely students learn better through hands-on experiences while playing. I serve in a Spanish Immersion classroom to students from low income families. Most of the time the experiences that these students get in school, are the only ones they have access to. It is my priority to provide them with quality experiences using attractive colorful and interesting math manipulatives to make math interesting and fun. With a hands-on approach and embedding math into my science center, my students will readily understand concepts and boost their self confidence. They will be able to visualize and gain insights into necessary fundamentals. Please help us make this happen!
