This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Water is life. Without water, every living thing--plants, animals, students--on this planet will perish.

Access to drinking water is literally a life-saver for my students.

Studies have shown that having access to water not only gives students a healthy alternative to sugar-sweetened beverages but adequate hydration also may improve cognitive function. Cognitive function is the ability to think critically with perseverance. That's why H²O is my secret weapon for keeping my students healthy and focused. Having a personal, reusable water bottle means my students are able to make healthy choices for their minds and bodies. If my students are not hydrated, their academic success may very well perish.
