My Students

My students arrive every day with smiles on their faces and an eagerness to learn. When asked on the first day of school, "What is your favorite part of school?" many students replied, "learning." Help us get the materials to further their love for school!

I teach a fun, loving, and caring group of first graders.

We are a Title I school, with over 80% of students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch. My students love reading, writing, and doing math. They are eager to try new things and share their excitement for new learning. They love exploring their world around them, and desire to better themselves. I feel so lucky to be their teacher!

My Project

Building foundational skills is very important in first grade. These materials will help my students develop their fine motor skills and learn basic alphabetic and numeric principles. These materials will provide fun and engaging ways to build their foundational skills. My students will have fun learning letter names and sounds, learning numbers and making Lego creations. I will be able to differentiate learning and purchase teacher created materials to support students at their level. My students will be able to advocate for their own learning through choice and variety. Help making learning foundational skills fun and inviting for my students!
