This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I aim to curate a diverse collection of popular books in Spanish, including contemporary novels, classic literature, graphic novels, and non-fiction titles. These books will cater to the varied interests and reading levels of our students, ensuring that everyone can find something to read. My classroom is a vibrant community of learners with diverse backgrounds.

I believe that access to engaging books in Spanish is crucial for fostering literacy and a sense of belonging in our classroom.

I have many newcomers, and they should be able to find a good book to read!
