Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am reaching out to emphasize the critical need for cubbies in my dual-language kindergarten classroom and to seek your support for this endeavor.
Cubbies play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experience of young students in several ways.
Firstly, cubbies foster responsibility and organization among children by providing them with designated storage for their belongings. At this formative stage of their education, it is imperative for children to learn the importance of taking care of their belongings and managing their personal space. Having designated cubbies will empower students to independently store and retrieve their belongings, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability for their actions.
Additionally, cubbies contribute to a clutter-free environment, promoting better focus and concentration during learning activities.
My goals for this project are clear: to instill responsibility, create an optimal learning environment, and promote inclusivity among my students.
