Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The "All About Me" posters allow students to express their individuality, interests, and background. By sharing personal information, it promotes empathy and understanding among classmates. It helps students appreciate the diversity within the classroom. The birthday crowns acknowledge their special day and make them feel recognized and appreciated within the classroom. The SEL support toys and book provide students with tools for self-regulation and stress relief, promoting a conducive learning environment. The class photos capture memories and milestones throughout the school year. By having ink available for printing, students can preserve these memories and create lasting bonds with their classmates.
My goal for this project is to provide my students with a sense of belonging and community within the classroom.
What makes the students special is their uniqueness and diversity. Each student brings their own set of talents, interests, and experiences to the classroom, enriching the learning environment. By recognizing and celebrating these differences, my students feel valued and have a sense of belonging.
