This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My little learners are curious and love listening to read alouds. Many of my pre-k students are starting their first year of school and are eager to learn how to read.

Please help me give my classroom engaging, high quality books.

Books create pathways to creativity, imagination and higher order thinking skills. These books will give my students multiple opportunities to expand their vocabulary and improve their concentration. Engaging books will foster a love for reading in my classroom. As Keillor Garrison once said, “A book is a gift that you can open again and again.”
