My students need a projector screen and cleaning kit to replace the old, worn out screen. Our current screen is too small and doesn't allow the complete image to be projected.
Do you remember any of your fourth grade lessons? I remember a science video on photosynthesis that I saw in fourth grade, 30 years ago, and I would like to create memorable fourth grade moments for my students.
I teach 34 students in a CA public school.
Nine of my students are English language learners, three have specific learning disabilities. Most of my 4th grade students come from socioeconomically disadvantaged families and don't have access to resources that their more affluent peers do. I don't want this to prevent them from reaching their full potential.
My students will greatly benefit from having a screen that we can use, instead of a chalkboard. The new technology makes learning fun and exciting. Unfortunately, the current screen that we have is tiny, was an old overhead projector screen, and doesn't have enough area for the complete image to be seen. My students can see only half of the pages projected.
A large projector screen will serve well for interactive lessons and will help my students become more engaged and excited.
It will give me an opportunity to integrate the latest technology and tools to help my students be more successful.
