This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to give my students new and exciting books to read. I feel that these books will help to bring all cultures into my classroom. I feel that they will connect with these books and be able to find themselves within them. The love of reading is very important and new books are always exciting! We will use these books in the classroom library. We will also read a new book everyday and enjoy various texts. Enjoying reading is so important for young students and I feel that these books will add to their enjoyment. I would love to have a Swivel comfortable chair to use as our library chair. We spend alot of time in the library and reading different books and a new chair for the library would be wonderful for my studentsto sit and relax while reading!
