My Project

I am requesting a light table, an overhead projector, color gels, as well as two books that explore the puzzling elements of light.

Children are mesmerized by light.

It is both mysterious and comforting.

For years, my students have gravitated towards projectors of many kinds. This project will provide tools that are specifically designed for student use and play.

I am hoping that by bringing in tools and books that promote curiosity around light, its uses and how it was discovered; students will begin to ask questions and gain knowledge about light's ever changing wonders including shadows, reflection and refraction.
