The kids enjoyed using the tricycles and the ramps both indoors and outdoors. They used the signs to \"direct traffic\" and stay safe while using the tricycles. They learned about motion, force, push, and pull, and persevered to get objects to move on the ramps. \r\n\r\nBoth the tricycles and ramps provide hours of exploration and healthy body movements. We have played Roly Poly as a whole group math warm up and it not only helps with counting, following directions, and turn taking but brings us closer together as a class. So far we have tackled cracker crumbs, bird seed, glitter, sand, soil and sprinkles all with ease.\r\n\r\nThe canister is very easy to clean out and the filters can simply be rinsed. I was glad to receive a new one, because many of the pieces have broken from my old set. \r\n\r\nI was happy to have the various items like foam numbers and sticky eyeballs to use for our age collage project at the start of the year. The materials you provided really are kindergarten essentials.\r\n\r\nWe use the dry erase markers every day. Kindergarten students have a habit of not putting the caps back on properly so we go through many markers throughout the week. Every day students have an art center. The water colors and tempura paint sticks that were selected provide the students with paper choice in the work they create. We are using our felt tip pens and permanent markers to learn that mistakes are okay and there is no need to spend time erasing our work. We love using our play dough to help strengthen our fine motor skills that will help us better hold our writing tools. \r\n\r\nYour donation is greatly appreciated.
