My Project

Resilient. That is the word I would use to describe my students. We have had a rough and challenging year, to say the least, but they come to school ready to learn in an overcrowded space with limited supplies. They always put forth their best effort, no matter the circumstances. My students are some of the brightest students in the United States, and they deserve everything they need to be successful.

My students are intrinsically motivated to do their best.

They do their best because they want to, not for a reward. However, I would like to give them a small token of my appreciation when possible. This is where you come in. Please help me provide my students with charms for their Crocs (which they wear even in the winter), fun animal erasers to go with my life science unit, and fruity candy for their brilliant responses. Also, please give them the opportunity to be enriched by giving them science resources such as research workbooks to challenge their thinking.

Basic supplies are dwindling, and we are in need of whiteboard markers and erasers to make math engaging and help me easily check for understanding. I am out of pencils, so I would love pre-sharpened pencils and a pencil sharpener to make them last a little longer. Finally, I need paper towels and Method spray to keep our environment clean, and Kleenex as it is that time of year. Thank you for all you do!
