Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These 6 NFHS-approved High School Footballs will allow us to provide the best possible practice structure for the 100 student-athletes we serve at any given time on the practice field. As a program, we actively seek to find new and innovative ways to engage our student-athletes to put forth their best effort to become better student-athletes on the football field and in the classroom.

These footballs allow practice sessions to be more fluid, add repetition to the skill-based drills performed at practice, and enable our student-athletes here at Mojave to have access to high-quality practice tools.

Our football program services 100 student-athletes participating on our Freshmen, Junior Varsity, and Varsity Teams throughout the 9-12 grade levels. Our student-athletes here at MHS predominantly come from low-income minority families throughout the North Las Vegas community.

Our program produces Champions with a “Goal Driven” Mindset!

We take a holistic approach towards coaching and mentoring our young men to improve all the qualities needed to succeed as future fathers, husbands, and leaders of their communities. We build our student-athletes to be better football players, refined students, productive community members, respectful family members at home, and young men striving to succeed through positive character in everything they want to accomplish in life. Through everyday activities within the program, players and coaches will relate learning moments back to life skills and how being good at anything in life takes direction, character, and a lot of hard work. We want to build future productive men and fathers, the key backbone to all families and communities.
