Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the year coming to a close, we are trying to maintain engagement while also searching for fun activities that allow our students to review this year's content to prepare for end-of-the-year assessments. I have some TpT activities picked out that allow students to play educational games on their own while I pull small groups to review instruction with the kids who need 1 on 1 support.

When students get to school late they miss free breakfast so I am hoping to start building up food/snacks that children can grab with no questions asked.

In addition, we are on our last box of soft tissues. This year has been like no other when it comes to kids getting sick. We go through multiple tissue boxes a week and I am trying my best to keep that stock from falling empty. The same goes for our kid-safe wipes that the students use to wipe their hands, face, and work areas.

Lastly, the chair rubber bands were a life saver when it came to keeping fidgety students in their chairs and on task. My four that I previously bought broke and my kids have been asking for more ever since.
