Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am working on opening a pantry for kids struggling with food insecurities. Also, my after school program will be making ready to eat meals for families in need to take home.

My students come from all sorts of backgrounds, a lot of whom struggle with having enough food.

This food will go to a food pantry for kids to stop by any time they may need.

Kids not being hungry at school helps them learn and really helps with good behavior. This will help families students and teachers be successful.
