Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need new food for the kitchen that our students play in. We have chosen different kinds of foods where they can make a plate for dinner. We have also chosen foods where they can cut. This will help with fine motor skills and is also preparing them with real world skills.

Our age range in TK is changing next year and our students are getting younger.

By having the new food in the kitchen it will help them to learn how to negotiate to solve problems. Their creativity will be used to make their own dishes that they can serve up. They will also have a common topic to talk about, making and serving food!
