My Project

As a teacher, I have found that all students are excited to learn and grow, but it is so sad as I watch my students struggle to concentrate to learn new concepts when I know that their little stomach's are growling with hunger. I love to give students every opportunity to increase their chances to do well in school. I have asked my students before how many of them eat breakfast and I was shocked how many hadn't! I think about how crucial having those basic needs are before students can more on to those other needs.

These snacks will meet the basic needs of my students so that they can learn and growing in knowledge.

Students will be able to snack and get their body whole mind and body ready for a rigorous day of 5th grade math, reading, writing, and science. These concepts are very tricky and complicated even for me as a teacher!
