Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Oftentimes kids come to school hungry. Occasionally, the cafeteria is serving something a child does not want so they decide not to eat at all. By providing juice and snacks it allows students to not go a whole day without food, especially if they don't have any at home.

I would also be able to provide them with a snack bag to go home, because some students often state that they do not have food at home or that its not enough.

I love that my students are eager to learn, but when hunger strikes it affects their performance in class.
