This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

children benefit from having snack time at school for several important reasons:

Energy and Concentration: Snacks provide a source of energy between meals, helping to sustain children's energy levels and concentration throughout the school day, especially for younger children with smaller stomachs.

Nutritional Support: Healthy snacks contribute essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, and fiber to children's diets, promoting their overall health and growth.

Preventing Hunger: Snacks help prevent hunger and reduce irritability or fatigue caused by hunger, ensuring that students can focus and participate actively in lessons.

Social Interaction: Snack time offers an opportunity for children to socialize with their peers, fostering social skills and positive relationships in the classroom.

Accommodating Individual Needs: Snacks can accommodate children with specific dietary needs or preferences, ensuring that all students feel included and supported.

Overall, snack time at school plays a vital role in supporting children's well-being, providing necessary nutrients, promoting socialization, and ensuring that all students have the energy and focus needed for a successful day of learning.
