My Project

100% of my students eat school lunch daily and anywhere from 50-100% of my students eat school breakfast. I am so grateful that our district is able to provide food throughout the day to our students, but that food is just not enough.

These snacks will help my students stay full throughout the day and allow them to focus on their reading, writing and play.

I save leftover breakfast to give to students throughout the day, but a lot of the food lacks enough nutrients to keep students full. It's hard for anyone to stay focused when they have an empty stomach. All of these snacks will go directly into the stomachs of my incredible kiddos.

Most students struggle in reading and writing and snacks can often help them focus. These snacks will help support my students academics as well as make up for the lack of food in our communities.
