This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Most of my students come to school hungry and needing basic daily needs. Having these choices available allows me to provide small snacks to my students throughout the day so they can focus on learning.

Students should not have to worry about food when trying to learn.

I want students to focus on learning and I want to provide these snacks for students to know they have basic needs met while in my classroom.

My students want to learn and are willing to do whatever they can to show proficiency. I want the students to know they have options while in my room.
