My Students

I am excited to meet my students at our new school. My students will be coming from a low income neighborhood and they each have unique needs that will need to be met for them to become successful.

The students have many different home languages and I would like to personalize each of their learning experiences.

This involves going outside of the traditional classroom and employing new innovative strategies to achieve the high standards I have for my students.

My Project

A classroom library is an essential piece for a balanced and well read student. Each book was selected for its high interest and well developed stories. Many of these books are part of a series. Requested book sets include Cam Jansen, Field Trip Mysteries, Geronimo Stilton, Harry Potter, Magic Tree House, A to Z Mysteries, Ready Freddy, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Students enjoy reading a book while being given an option to pick up another book with the same characters.

These books will engage my students and assist in building a love for reading.

A love for reading is an essential part of their education because we read multiple types of text throughout the day. Being able to read fluently and comprehend text is a part of everyone's daily life. These books will help my students achieve this goal.

My students and I would appreciate your help in acquiring the materials necessary to complete this project.
