Help me give my students a class set of needle felting tools and supplies, which includes wool, needles with handles, felt and felting foam, and rotary shears!

My Project

The felting tools materials and supplies I am requesting for this project will impact my 2D and 3D art students. My students love to explore new art mediums and fiber arts is often one that gets overlooked. My 2D art students will use needle felting to create felt paintings, and my 3D students will use these materials to create figurines.

Fiber arts played a crucial part in my students learning during Covid-19 and these materials will expand their knowledge even further.

My students use fiber arts not only as a medium to expand their critical thinking and creativity, but also as an escape from the every day hustle and bustle of our lives. Fiber arts allows my students to slow down and focus on what is happening in that moment.

Funding these materials will provide each of my students a set of tools to create pieces of fine fiber art.
