My Project
Our ELL English team is planning on doing a Folktale unit next year as our beginning unit. It will help us to show our very diverse classes how they are similar even though they are from different parts of our world. Folktales are an easy introduction to English because many students have heard similar stories from their countries. It also helps build a base of collaboration for our students. Additionally they hit on several key English skills by helping students learn to compare and contrast the Folktales from various countries.
