This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of folders that have many pockets! My students are self-contained, which means they have materials for every subject at their tables. This can get overwhelming for a first grader. often times they don't even know what they need for what subject, and we often have lessons that are cross- curricular which makes it even harder to know what to have out at what time.

We need a one-stop shop!

The folders that I am asking for, is one folder with many different pockets. This would allow all of our subjects to have a place, but being able to use supports like our sight word list, and alphabet in any subject that we have since it is all in the same spot! It also makes it easy to take to small groups and stations too!

I've requested multiple colors so that we can organize folders by subjects and students can learn to be responsible for keeping their things neat and organized by subject.
