Focusing on the Middle

Help me give my students cardboard partitions, sand timers, fidgets, and coloring pages to help students stay calm and focused on making good choices.

My Students

My students attend middle school at a low-income school. This is not a challenge that holds them back. They are learning to face the obstacles that they have outside of school and focus on their education. My students know they need to learn in order to succeed.

When students are aware of their own learning needs, they can soar to new heights.

My students deserve a chance to fly; the world needs to see the potential that my students know they have to give.

My Project

We have a fantastic group of students that would benefit from learning calming strategies. Cardboard partitions, sand timers, fidgets and coloring pages will give students an outlet when they are feeling stressed, angry, or frustrated.

Adults often forget that we need to offer children opportunities the regain a calm demeanor.

When we model these opportunities and give them a place to thrive, they can learn how to decompress.

Our students deserve tools to make them good adults. We need to guide them into making good choices. We are beyond thrilled to have these tools to offer in our classroom communities.
