My Project

I teach in a Title 1 school where many students do not come to school with any school supplies. Part of our academic day is spent on independent learning paths in reading and math. During these times it is imperative that each student is able to focus on what is in front of them. In order to be successful the room needs to be quiet. Headphones would enable them to have the quiet they need so their attention is kept on their learning path. This will allow them to be more successful in a room of thirty students all on different paths at the same time.

Headphones are also necessary for the academic testing we complete at the beginning, middle, and end of the year.

The microphones help the computer to pick up each individual student's independent, spoken response. Headphones are a necessary entity to our everyday learning.
