My Students

Our 2nd-grade​ classroom is full of curious and enthusiastic learners. We recognize that each person has their own strengths and challenges, and we work together to form a positive learning environment for all. We are interested in how the world works around us both inside and outside of the classroom. Each student brings a unique perspective and experience to the group as a whole making learning diverse in the classroom. We thrive off of our individuality and unique learning abilities.

My Project

I provide a daily playlist in Canvas that my students can work on independently while I work with small groups in both reading and math. Having headphones will help students hear their videos and programs, allow them to work at their own pace, and minimize distractions around them. Small group instruction will be more effective with the reduction of noise from videos and programs as well. This will provide an optimum learning environment all around that will allow me to address gaps in learning that have increased due to difficulties the pandemic has brought on in our classrooms.
