Focused Learners Need Flexible Seating

My students need Flex-Space Wobble Chairs and Floor Seats so that they have the opportunity to move around and to help them focus while working in a small group setting.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are in a public school in the suburbs. I have the best students. My students are in grades 3, 4 and 5 and we work daily on reading skills. I only have 40 minutes with each of my groups and it is my goal to provide a warm, comfortable learning environment. I believe that students learn better when they are comfortable. With the incorporation or flexible seating in my classroom, my students will be more focused, engaged and eager to learn.

My Project

My students are with me for intense intervention. They are required to work at their optimal level for 40 minutes straight. Having flexible seating, like the Flex-Space Wobble chairs would benefit my students by allowing them to move as needed and have a variety of seating available.

Being able to sit on the Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seat will give the students a comfortable space to sit while they are enjoying independent reading time.

The opportunity to move and be comfortable will assist with the students focus. Having comfortable, child-friendly seating is a bonus for any student in any classroom. It will especially benefit my students because they will have a fun and exciting environment to go to while learning.
