This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My student are an active and diverse group of bilingual 5th graders from Boston.

They take on their roles as scholars with pride.

They know that they not only come to school to learn, but come to school to lead. Throughout the day, we think deeply about an author's purpose, question the actions of history, contemplate the solution to a mathematical problem, and critically cite our thinking through writing.

I do not know what this school year will bring, but I know, much like this past years, my students will rise to every challenge and continue to learn and be the leaders that they were born to be.

My Project

My students are incredible, amazing individuals. They are leaders, learners, poets, mathematicians, writers, scientists and Bostonians. I am dedicated to making sure my students will have the tools they need in order to have a successful school year. The headphones in this project will allow each student to be able to focus on learning without the distractions of their peers. With your help my students will be able to learn using many great computer based programs. My goal is not only to teach my students, but to challenge them and support their growth. This project will support me as I provide the best instruction I can while we navigate through this school year.
