What makes my students special? Everything! I have been amazed these past few weeks by my students. It is my second year of teaching, and I have been blown away. My students come from varying backgrounds. Many of them receive free or reduced price-lunch, and many of them go to after-school programs that really benefit them.
My class members are supportive of each other.
They all help each other when they notice someone does not have their supplies, and they try to help each other understand the concepts that we are learning in class. Almost everyone pays a compliment or shows appreciation to a classmate at the end of the day.
My Project
These chairs will help the few of my students who fidget often and need some place to express their energy without distracting other students or leaning their chair back. Constantly moving and balancing helps students have a place to put all of the energy that they have throughout the day.
I have many students who like to lean their chair back or to the side to fidget; I think these chairs will help my students who need to be constantly moving.
I want to help my students focus on their work without distracting other students. I think that these students will highly benefit from having that constant movement throughout the day.
