My Project

Students have continuously shown me how much they could use various tools to help them focus in the classroom. Whether it's testing days, independent work time, or simply the need for some quiet, noise cancelling earmuffs would be the perfect tool for my students to utilize when they need to tune out the classroom around them. There can be so many distractions in a classroom: whole school announcements that don' require their attention, noise from the classroom next door, or simply other students in the room requesting help.

It is super important to me that my students have any tools they need to limit those distractions and, in turn, be more successful.

These tools also give students the autonomy to decide what they need to be successful. It can be extremely empowering to a student when they can identify their needs and make decisions to address those needs.
