Focus Tools for School!

My Project

I teach Tier 3 small group instruction in reading, writing, and math. These kids work so hard! I would love to provide these materials to help them ease the stress of school, practice coping skills, and maintain their focus.

Many of my students have serious testing anxiety.

Weighted lap pads are a great, unobtrusive tool to help students calm their nerves during testing and assessments. Putty gives them something to do with their hands while they are thinking, or a way to relieve stress during breaks. The two wobble stools we already have in the classroom have been so helpful for kids who struggle to stay in their seat- but I need some that work for my taller students, too!

I strive to maintain a classroom environment that is friendly for all types of learners. These donations will help me continue to make my room a safe space for kids who need extra support. Thank you!
