This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being a middle schooler is tough enough with all of the drastic brain development changes of puberty and adolescence. Add standardized testing to that equation, and it makes it all the more challenging to regulate stress and find the ability to stay focused, test after test.

Fidgets allow students to channel their nervous energy, stress, and testing fatigue into an object that often allows students to find their focus and "lock in" to testing mode.

These fidgets will be used schoolwide to help our students as they tackle the various district-mandated and state-mandated tests throughout the school year.
