My Project

I love how eager my students are to dive deeper with their learning this year. They love anything that allows them to be creative and is hands-on. My hope with using these kites as a part of our last writing and science units is to give my students exactly what they love most---an engaging and interactive experience.

These kites will help my students develop a feeling of wonder and curiosity that will follow them throughout their educational journey!

In addition to grabbing their interest, the kites will provide a concrete link to the ideas we are studying in class. The specific items I'm asking for, the kites and markers, will improve their education by providing an interesting and different approach to exploring concepts in science. As the kites rise in the air, so, too, will my kids' curiosity about the amazing things scientists have accomplished.
