Fly Around The World Reading Magazines For Kids!

My project needs 10 copies/subscriptions of the magazine "Time for Kids&quot". We also need magazine covers to keep them in good condition for use in many classes. We also would love to have the science journal, Readers Digest Pathfinders Library which will keep us abreast of the latest scientific breakthroughs. This set is comprised of four high interest magazines two of which are on dinosaurs and space!

I am a 6th grade language arts teacher in an urban, public school in Baltimore. I have taught for over thirty years and am always looking for new reading material that interests my students. I teach both high performing students and students with special needs.

My students are very easily bored and seem to have very little background knowledge in science and current events. "Time for Kids" introduces them to a whole new world.

I am always trying to feed my students the latest, most exciting information available. These high interest magazines are wonderfully illustrated and have sparked my students' interests in reading and science. In addition, I teach the importance of taking care of these educational supplies by having the students cover them with antimicrobial plastic covers.

Please help me with this necessary project. Our children are our future. They need to be aware of their world outside of Baltimore. By providing these magazines you can allow them to "fly around the world" and open their minds to new ideas!!!!
