This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some of our basic classroom materials, such as a STEM 30 Cubby wood shelving Unit Organizer, were destroyed in a school-wide flood that occurred when the pipes froze and burst on December 24, 2022. We are still trying to rebuild our classroom after cleaning and removing water-damaged items from our classroom. This particular STEM Cubby Storage Organizers provided countless opportunities for students to have easy access and remain organized while manipulating, exploring, communicating, thinking critically, investigating, collaborating and problem solving with STEM manipulatives.

The 30 Cubby STEM Storage Organizational Units will ensure that our students continue to thrive in the areas of Literacy, Writing, Science, Math, Music and Movement, Reading and so much more.

My students are still developing their literacy and fine motor skills, so it’s important to help facilitate the development of those skills in the classroom by offering safe, easy-access STEM storage shelves.
