My Students

I have been teaching second grade for twelve years and I am committed to giving my students every opportunity possible to be successful. My students require lots of hands-on activities and many require additional small group or one-on-one attention, especially in math and reading. I deeply care about the individual needs of my students, which is why I spend a majority of my free time researching ways to provide them with the instruction and materials they need to succeed. Please help me provide my students with an amazing education. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated by myself, my students, this school, and this community.

My Project

Flocabulary provides an engaging way to introduce and review concepts related to all areas of the curriculum.

We use this each day as a way to integrate music and movement into concepts.

With the catchy beat, students find themselves dancing and singing along in no time and want to hear the songs over and over. Flocabulary has been a valuable technique in my classroom for the past three years and I would love to be able to share it with my new group of students. This will be a valuable addition to my classroom because it will increase engagement in all content areas.
