FlexTech Year Book Project

My Students

My students are funny, caring, curious, and passionate about learning, even when they don't realize it. Their interests range from writing code for video games to caring for pet rabbits and volunteering at local animal shelters.

Our student body is made up of a diverse group of learners who all bring different gifts and challenges to the classroom.

Because we are a small school, we have the opportunity to work with students one-on-one more often and help them to grow.

My Project

Students, staff, and parents have expressed interest in creating a YearBook Club at FlexTech. As an English teacher, and a former Year Book contributor myself, I will be helping to lead this club with another staff member and a group of students.

We would like to have a high-quality camera and accessories designated for the use of our current and future YearBook Clubs.

I'm calling it The FlexTech YearBook Club as a way to mirror our name, so yes, the spelling is intentional. Because it is something new, we are confident it will truly be an authentic learning experience, and will be student-driven and teacher-supervised, which is how we like to do things at FlexTech!
