My Students

My students are from a high poverty area, but you would not know it to see their eagerness to learn! They do not have the same opportunities as students in other areas so I am working to provide them with as many experiences to help them learn and grow as possible.

Hands-on learning that gets us up and moving while using our brains and thinking outside of the box is awesome!

My Project

Since we know working is a part of life, why can't we make it something that we can at least do in a comfortable setting? We use flexible seating in my classroom which means that the students are not stuck in a chair with a desk in front of them all day long.

Students will be able to use these inflatable chairs to sit in while working on various things in class.

Students can relax and read a book in them or sit with their Chromebooks and complete class assignments. The students enjoy using the seating so much that they often forget that they are working!
