My Students

My students are destined to be successful. They are eager to learn and in of a classroom the optimizes their learning potential. Many of my students come from low socioeconomic, single-parent families and they are in need of extra attention and nurturing.

My students deserve an exceptional educational experience.

I strive to provide meaningful learning activities and tap into the students' interests. They have varying learning styles and I must find different modes of instruction to keep them engaged. I think my students would benefit from learning opportunities that allow movement in the classroom. Sometimes the same seat work routine can become mundane. Flexible seating opportunities will help my students remain focused and engaged in the classroom. Fourth grade can be a difficult year for students but we are determined to excel together.

My Project

I strive to provide meaningful learning activities and tap into the students' interests. Student learning styles are constantly evolving. Learning opportunities that allow movement in the classroom have proven to be beneficial. Significant research shows that students who are comfortable while learning and feel safe can optimize their potential. The items such as the magnetic, portable dry erase board, the active learning stools, and the headphones will allow students to move their learning around to different areas in our classroom.

My students deserve an exceptional educational experience.

Last school your I began shifting away from the standardized desks and moved towards providing more flexible seating opportunities. It began when I was granted core engagement stools and yoga balls. My classroom instantly became alive. My students were able to move while thinking and processing information and they became more engaged.
