My students are superheroes in training. My classroom is made up of 31 students in two groups. Over 90% of my students receive free or reduced lunch due to low socioeconomic status. My class is designed for optimal Reading and Language Arts instruction. This year my students will be assessed in reading, writing, and mathematics according to the Florida State Standards. My class includes 7 students who receive special education services for varying exceptionalities. It also includes 6 students who have been identifying as gifted.
