Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 3rd grade students are part of a wonderful Dual Language Program in which they learn to read, write and speak in two languages, Spanish and English. They are in the pathway to becoming bicultural and biliterate.

I want to provide my students with a flexible work and seating space to collaborate with others.

I want to provide a learning environment in which all students can learn. A space in which students can stand, seat, or move as they learn, developed critical thinking and problem solving skills, work collaborative, and build communication skills.

My Project

I want to provide a flexible working space in which students can engage in working collaboratively with others.

The dry erase table will engage students in active learning.

It will allow them to write on the table surface while solving math problems, engage in brainstorming ideas, explain their solutions, and build on each others thinking.

The stools will provide flexible seating that can be rearrange to better meet the needs of the group or students. Making it easier to work together. Meeting the needs of all is important and flexible seating and grouping will support everyone in my class.
