My Students

Ten boys and seven girls, this class is one of two in our rural southwest Wisconsin school. Third graders transition from working independently to collaboratively several times each day, often swapping rooms with the other third grade class for math or reading instruction. One of the great things about our district is the sense of family that is developed between classmates. Sharing our space and working closely together is a huge part of that.

Our third grade classroom is always bustling with energy and enthusiasm!

We love trying new things, exploring innovative ideas, and testing theories. With open hearts and open minds, this is a class of unique individuals, overflowing with potential.

My Project

This project is meant to enhance learning experiences and support the needs of all of my students by providing them with additional areas to store their books and supplies. It will also provide all students with new flex seating options in the classroom.

This project will provide the curious and talented third graders at our school with additional options for selecting work spaces based on their needs and learning styles.

The addition of these materials will help build a stronger sense of community in the classroom. I am eager to watch them flourish both independently and collaboratively with these new resources.
