Help me give my students Wobble Chairs that allow them to social distance while staying comfortable. These seats allow teachers to arrange flexible spaces that change throughout the day—supporting a wide variety of independent and cooperative learning activities.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are very enthusiastic. They each have their own unique learning style. Many of my students are hands-on and visual learners. They attempt any assignment I give them. Even though my students are considered to have a disadvantage, they do not let that stand in their way.

My Project

Wobble cushions help in two ways: one is to provide stimulation to keep the child alert, hence the nubs. And the other is to help the child activate their core muscles when they wobble, assisting with building core strength for less floppy sitting on a regular chair. My students need extra assistance staying alert and focused and wobble seats will be a great addition to my classroom.

These seats will allow my class to be safely seated at least 6 feet apart whether they are learning as a group or individually.

Flexible seating will help keep my classroom safe during face-to-face learning.
