Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As an adult, I have a hard time sitting in one spot in the same position for long periods of time. I begin to move around a lot and get antsy. I see that in myself as well as with my students. I can't expect them to seat in their seats focusing on the lesson at hand while being extremely uncomfortable. I understand this is hard to do, so I give my students the option to sit where they would like.

A lot of my students choose to seat on the floor.

The couch and floor rocker I am requesting will provide that comfort for my students. The Scoop Floor Seats will not only provide comfort but create collaborative environments for my students. This will also aid in better classroom communication and creativity.

Providing students with the choice to be comfortable in their classroom will increase student engagement! Your generous donation to my students will benefit them greatly and help all of them reach their greatest potential in the classroom.

Ms. Martin will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 25.
