This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We all love to curl up with a good book! Students would be thrilled to pull up a bean bag chair and read or talk about partner work. My classroom needs bean bag chairs to engage in more authentic, quiet and comfortable reading. We all love to curl up to a good book, but a hard, concrete floor or chair at a desk is not welcoming or inviting to sustain reading quietly for the necessary time for older readers. Help me make an inviting space for curling up with a good book!
